Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Draft mobile application ("Draft", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information. By using Draft you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Apple, Google or email, we receive your name (if provided), email address and a unique account identifier. You may also use the app as a guest without providing an email.
- Content you create: notes, tasks, bookmarks, projects, reminders and images you add to the app. This content is stored so it can sync across your devices and, if you choose, be shared with collaborators you invite.
- Photos: only images you explicitly select or capture with the camera are uploaded. We do not access the rest of your photo library.
- Purchase information: if you subscribe to Draft Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive subscription status and a transaction identifier through RevenueCat; we never receive your payment card details.
- Usage and diagnostics: anonymous usage events and crash reports (device model, OS version, app version) that help us fix bugs and improve the app.
2. How we use information
- To provide the app's core features: storing, syncing and sharing your content.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock Premium features.
- To send reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- To diagnose crashes and improve performance and usability.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your content for advertising.
3. Third-party services
Draft relies on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics) — privacy information
- Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In — for authentication
- RevenueCat — subscription management — privacy policy
- Apple App Store and Google Play — payment processing
4. Sharing
Your content is private by default. It is only visible to other people when you explicitly share a project or item with them. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently deletes your account and the content associated with it from our servers. Backups are purged within 30 days. You can also request deletion by contacting us (see below).
6. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with access restricted by security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Children
Draft is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
